2 Snowmobilers Dead After Striking Vehicle In Pa.

By Patrick Walters ASSOCIATED PRESS WRITER

PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Two people riding a snowmobile on a city street in Lancaster are dead after they collided with a moving vehicle at an intersection.

Police are not immediately releasing the names or ages of the male and female victims.

Lancaster Police Sgt. Ray Corll says it is illegal to drive a snowmobile on a city street. He says it’s also dangerous, since some vehicles remain on the roads even during the winter storm.

Police say the other driver and people on a snowmobile behind the victims were uninjured after the Wednesday afternoon crash.
