More Than 100 Train Cars Spill Coal In Pa.

MEYERSDALE, Pa. (AP) – More than 100 freight train cars carrying coal derailed in Pennsylvania, but no one was hurt.

CSX spokesman Bob Sullivan says the cause of the derailment around 2:45 a.m. Saturday was under investigation. He says 113 cars of a 130-car train derailed around Meyersdale.

The derailment was affecting a stretch of train track from Cumberland to Pittsburgh.
