McConnellsburg 33

Fannett-Metal scored 42- points after the halftime break to breeze by the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans last Thursday 58- 33. Nikki Fleming, Casey Pollock and Libby Strayer each netted six points in the Sideling Hill League game. Nikki McQuade and Rachel Porterfield followed with five and four points, respectively.

S. Fulton 53 Forbes Road 37

The Southern Fulton Indians extended a four-point lead midway into last Thursday’s Sideling Hill League game and downed the Forbes Road Cardinals 53- 37. Amy Bard was the lead Indian scorer with 15 points, and Chelsie Eader continued her strong offensive play with 11 points. Teammates Lacey Beatty and Jenna Hollenshead both added seven points. For the Lady Cardinals, Kaili Hockensmith had a team-high 13 points and 10 rebounds. Samantha Clippinger rounded out the match with nine points.

Greencastle-Antrim 59

McConnellsburg 17

The McConnellsburg Lady Spartans scored 17 points during three quarters of play last Wednesday during a 59-17 loss to Greencastle-Antrim. Libby Strayer was top scorer for Mc- Connellsburg with four points and five rebounds. Becca Hahn also added four points, and Casey Pollock tallied three.

Chestnut Ridge 64

Forbes Road 35

Forbes Road fell by 29-points last Tuesday evening, allowing Chestnut Ridge to clinch the Sideling Hill League game 64-35. Sam Clippinger, Jessica Gearhart and Shayla Carmack all contributed nine points during the match.

Southern Fulton 60 Hancock 28

Four members of the Southern Fulton Indians squad rallied for double digits last Tuesday during a 60-28 victory over Hancock, Md. Chelsie Eader led the scoring effort with 14 points, and Taelor Morton and Amy Bard both had 11 points. Bard also contributed six steals during the non-league game, while Jenna Hollenshead added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

FCCCS 37 Calvary Christian 36

The Fulton County Community Christian School edged out Calvary Christian from Huntingdon by a mere one point last Tuesday during overtime. Jenae Gordon netted 22 points and made seven steals during the non-league match, which saw Andrea Leedy grabbing 17 rebounds, dishing out six assists and sinking eight points.
