Forbes Road 60 Everett 37
The Forbes Road Cardinals extended their 18-point lead following the first period and cruised onto a 60-37 victory Monday night over the Everett Warriors. Trent Black led the evening’s scoring effort with 16 points, and Tanner Henry followed closely with 15 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks. Jesse Newman recorded 12 points, 12 assists and three steals, while Dylan Gelvin was the next highest scorer with nine points.

Hyndman 17
Hyndman only managed to score six points in each of Monday evening’s final two periods during a huge 63-17 loss to the Southern Fulton Indians. Luke Mellott led the Indians with 18 points, and Ryan Harper added nine points, eight rebounds, six steals and three blocked shots. Zach Leasure had eight points, teammates Seth Hall, Dylan Whiteside and Derek Younker each tallied seven.

Chestnut Ridge 38
Southern Fulton broke Wednesday evening’s game wide open in the second and third period and cruised on to a 30-point win over Chestnut Ridge. Luke Mellott tallied 24 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Derek Younker posted 15 points, and J.C. Munson and Ryan Harper both added eight.

McConnellsburg 43
McConnellsburg’s offense picked up the pace during the half-time break, but it was too late for the Spartans to overcome the Northern Bedford Panthers. During the 54-43 loss, Ryan Defibaugh scored over half of the Spartan’s overall points with 22. Tyler Branche was the team’s next highest scorer with six points.

What began as a 15-point lead ended in a 27-point victory for the Southern Fulton Indians, who easily downed Bishop Walsh last Tuesday evening. Luke Mellott was the high scorer for the evening with 28 points and 10 rebounds, while Ryan Harper followed closely with 25 points. Seth Hall added five points and seven assists.

Fulton County Community Christian School easily walked away with a 35-point win over Calvary Christian Tuesday night. Charger T.J. Leedy was again top scorer with 19 points, Skyler Gordon totalled 12 points. Teammate Nathan Truax followed closely with 11 points, while Caleb Gingrich led the defensive effort with 11 rebounds and four steals.

The McConnellsburg Spartans found themselves outscored by a total of 16 points by the Fannett Metal Tigers, who cruised onto a 54-32 win Friday night. Ryan Defibaugh tallied 14 points and seven rebounds, and teammate Drew Wink added six points.

The Fulton County Community Christian School tallied its seventh straight victory Friday night with a seven-point win over Emmanuel Christian. Seth Gordon netted 23 points and added five assists, and T.J. Leedy poured in 22 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots. Kenny Lininger added 10 points, and Skyler Gordon finished with nine points and five steals.

The Forbes Road Cardinals opened up the fourth period Friday night with nine unanswered points breaking open what was a tight game against the Southern Fulton Indians. The Cardinals ended the Sideling Hill League match with a 52-44 victory and 18 points each from Trent Black and Jesse Newman. Luke Mellott led the Indians with 16 points, and Ryan Harper and Derek Younker followed with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
