MES Character Counts Students Awarded

McConnellsburg Elementary is continuing its character education program. It is believed that character counts, so each month a different character trait will be promoted. In January the children listed below were chosen by their teacher for demonstrating the qualities of integrity. Integrity means being strong enough to do what you know is right and doing the right thing, even when it is difficult. They received a certificate and a small prize. The traits worked on this school year are citizenship, compassion, fairness, honesty, integrity, perseverance, responsibility, respect and self-discipline. Students are as follows:
