      Henrietta Chamberlain visited with her granddaughter and husband, Alexandar and Daniel Smolnik, in Binghamton, N.Y. She attended the christening of her great-grandson, Daniel Gregory. His grandparents, Greg and Kory Wengert of Scotland, Pa., also attended.

     The predictions are that Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow on Tuesday, February 2, which means six more weeks of winter. I imagine we will have that anyway. Everyone always welcomes spring. Guest speaker at Knobsville United Methodist Church on Sunday was Richard Mellott on behalf of the Gideons.
