Weaver – Gordon United

Mr. and Mrs. James Weaver Mr. and Mrs. James Weaver Charla Renee Gordon, McConnellsburg, and James Matthew Weaver, Chambersburg, were united in marriage Saturday, November 14, 2009, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fayetteville.

The bride is the daughter of Charlene Gordon, Mc- Connellsburg, and Gary Bohrer, Needmore. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Lester Gordon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Avery Bohrer. Charla’s great-aunt is the late Mabel Brady.

Charla received an associate’s degree in 2003 from Hagerstown Community College. She is employed by Chambersburg Hospital as a radiology technologist.

The groom is the son of Joan Weaver, Shippensburg, and the late William D. Weaver. His grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wagaman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Weaver. Jim is a sales supervisor at the Sara Lee/Butter-Krust Co. in Williamsport, Md.

Jessica Large, friend of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Valerie Large, Theresa Hurrell, Jamie Schetrompf and Selina Hofmann, all friends of the bride, served as bridesmaids. Miss Calie Jo Large performed flowergirl duties, while Elijah Strait and Hayden Sche-trompf served as ringbearers.

Dean Weaver, brother of the groom, served as the best-man. Dave Binkley, Curtis Bowers, Jason Vanscyoc and Damon Reese, all friends of the groom, served as groomsmen.

The reception was held at the Orchards Restaurant in Chambersburg following the ceremony.

The couple reside in Mc- Connellsburg.
