Cards Of Thanks

Fulton County Center for Families would like to thank Dott’s Store and the surrounding community for helping us make Christmas happier for some Fulton County children.

Even in these difficult economic times, many people were able to find a way to donate to some of the children in our community who needed it most. Anonymous donors chose a number from the Christmas tree that had a child’s age, clothing sizes and other information on the back.

Through their generosity, we were able to provide 33 children from Fulton County with gifts. It was as much as a gift to us to be a part of the project and be touched by these “angels.”

Thank you for the many prayers, cards, visits, food, words of encouragement and well wishes during the illness and passing of our husband, stepfather, stepgrandfather and friend, Fred Mellott. The care and compassion shown our family through this time has served as a testament to the character of the people who knew him.

Fred’s love and friendship, as well as his unceasing desire to follow his Lord, have left all of us better people for having known him. We celebrate his life and triumphant passage into God’s loving arms.
Yours in Christ,
Naomi Mellott

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the many family members, friends, neighbors, and community church members for their prayers, visits, food, phone calls and help during my recent diagnosis, surgery and even now as I’m recovering at home.

I am thankful to the Mc- Connellsburg VFC ambulance crews that provided quality care during both transports to the hospital. Special thanks to my wife and my family for their care, love and support. To my friends, Jim Seville, Brandon Gordon and my daughter, Anita, thank you for your time in helping to feed and care for my cattle. My doctors, Dr. Harry Johnston, Urology Assoc. of Chambersburg, especially Dr. Kambiz Tajkarimi and the nursing and surgical staff at the Chambersburg Hospital, I am very grateful for their excellent medical care. Also, to my fellow members and Pastor Betty Secrist of the Center United Methodist Church, thank you for your continuing spiritual love and support. May God bless you all.

We wish to thank Helpmates for all of your help, and to our family and friends thanks for all the prayers, visits, cards, phone calls and meals. These acts of kindness were deeply appreciated, more than you can know.

Thank you for being with us during our loss of Charles.

Thank you again and God be with you.
