Luke Mellott scored 19 points in the first half of Tuesday evening’s game and rolled on to a career-high 25 points during a 60-36 win over the Everett Warriors. Mellott also tallied 12 rebounds, and Ryan Harper added 14 points during the Sideling Hill League match.
Forbes Road 62 Hyndman 25
Tanner Henry led his Forbes Road Cardinal teammates with a whopping 19 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots last Tuesday when the Cardinals downed the Hyndman Hornets 62-25. Jesse Newman followed closely with 18 points, four assists and three steals. Trent Black finished with 13 points.

Evan Appleby led the Mc- Connnellsburg Spartans offensive effort last Tuesday, hitting five three-point shots against Tussey Mountain. Appleby finished the Sideling Hill League loss with 19 points, and Ryan Defibaugh netted 16 points and grabbed six rebounds. Drew Wink fell just shy of reaching double digits with nine points.
FCCCS 71 Lighthouse Christian 39
Kenny Lininger started last Tuesday’s game against Lighthouse Christian on the right foot, netting 15 points during the first quarter for Fulton County Community Christian School. Lininger wrapped up the victory with 22 points and six steals, while teammate Seth Gordon pumped in 16 points as well as eight rebounds and six steals. T.J. Leedy rounded out the match with 13 points for the Chargers.

Fannett-Metal 55
Southern Fulton eked out a jump shot with only two seconds left on the game clock to edge out the Fannett-Metal Tigers 57- 55. Derek Younker finished the Sideling Hill League game with 10 points, which included the game-winning shot for the Indians. Luke Mellott led the scoring effort with 17 points, and Ryan Harper added 15.

The McConnellsburg Spartans were held to 15 points during the second half of Friday evening’s game, which ended in a 64-36 loss at the hands of the Forbes Road Cardinals. Tanner Henry posted some big numbers with 27 points and two blocked shots, while Trent Black had a strong offensive game with 19 points. Jesse Newman finished with 10 points and 10 assists. Spartan teammates Ryan Defibaugh and Drew Wink both reached double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively, and Nathan Swope added nine points.

Kenny Lininger was red hot Friday night, pouring in 33 points and grabbing seven rebounds during the Fulton County Community Christian School’s 46-39 win over Emmanuel Christian. Seth Gordon was the team’s next highest scorer with eight points, nine assists and 10 steals.

Southern Fulton continues to be the number-one seed in District 5-A after posting a 52-27 victory over the Northern Bedford Panthers Monday night. Ryan Harper led the Indians with 14 points, and Luke Mellott posted 11 points, 11 rebounds and six steals. Seth Hall added 10 points during the Sideling Hill League match.
Everett 50 McConnellsburg 36
Ryan Defibaugh was the lone member of the McConnellsburg Spartans team to reach double figures Monday evening during a 50-36 loss to the Everett Warriors. Defibaugh hit 15 points, and Evan Appleby netted eight points. Trevor Souders led the Spartans’ defensive effort with seven rebounds.

Jesse Newman tallied 19 points to lead the Forbes Road Cardinals on to a 50-39 nonleague victory over Southern Huntingdon Monday night. Newman also had three assists, and Tanner Henry had a double-double with 10 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. Trent Black followed with eight points and eight steals.

Fulton County Community Christian School jumped out to a 17-point lead going into the halftime break Saturday and held on for the 54-47 win over Calvary Christian. Seth Gordon managed 19 points to lead the Chargers, who also got 15 points from T.J. Leedy. Caleb Gingerich finished with 10 rebounds.
