Dec. 22, 29 Court Sessions Held

Judges Carol L. Van Horn and Douglas W. Herman of the 39th Judicial District of the Court of Common Pleas presided over court sessions held at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday, December 22 and 29.

David Nicholas Benson appeared without an attorney for mandatory arraignment on charges of possession of a controlled substance. Benson pleaded guilty and was ordered to complete 12 months probation.

David Wayde Cisney appeared with legal counsel on charges of recklessly endangering another person. Cisney waived arraignment proceedings and entered a guilty plea. He will be sentenced February 2.

Stanley Earl Kohr appeared with his attorney on charges of driving under the influence. Kohr pleaded guilty to charges, and he will be sentenced on February 2.

Larry Wayne Portner Jr. appeared with legal counsel and entered a not-guilty plea to driving under the influence. Portner’s trial has been tentatively scheduled for January 25.

Kevin Lynn Strait appeared without an attorney and waived arraignment on charges of driving under the influence. Strait was admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program by the court following the suggestion of District Attorney Travis Kendall. Strait will accordingly complete 12 months probation.

Fateshia Ann Loreman appeared with her attorney for sentencing on counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Loreman was sentenced to six months probation.

Zachary Michael Pittman was sentenced to six months probation for possession of a small amount of marijuana. Pittman also appeared in court on an unrelated incident involving theft by unlawful taking. Pittman was ordered to complete an additional 18 months probation.

Brett David Fitzgerald appeared with his attorney to enter a guilty plea to false identification to law enforcement authorities. He was sentenced to 12 months probation.

Written court orders were issued in probation/parole-violation hearings involving Jack Frederick Bonebrake Jr., Andrew Little and Joseph Netz.

Tyler Allen Fix appeared with legal counsel and waived arraignment on charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence-controlled substance. Fix was admitted into the ARD program and will complete 12 months probation.

Brian Allen Henry appeared with his attorney and waived arraignment proceedings held on charges of driving under the influence and summary offenses. Henry was admitted into the ARD program and will accordingly complete 12 months probation.

David Scott Hughs appeared with legal representation on charges of driving under the influence and summary offenses. Hughs will complete 12 months probation through the ARD program.

Joe William Ausherman appeared with his attorney for sentencing on driving under the influence. Ausherman will complete 30 days in the Franklin County Prison.

Brian O’Neil Davis appeared with legal counsel and was ordered to complete 90 days in a state correctional institution for driving under the influence.

Sandra Marie Jefferson appeared for sentencing and will complete between 30 days and six months in the Franklin County Prison for driving under the influence.
