After the rainy Sunday followed a beautiful spring-like Monday, but it won’t likely last too long.

Knobsville United Methodist Church folks held a spaghetti supper on Friday evening. Good to see quite a nice group of folks

attending. The church folks wish to thank all who helped and also all those who attended.

Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor a shooting match on Saturday, January 23, beginning 1:00 p.m. Twelve-, 16- and 20-gauge shells will be furnished. First- and second-place prizes will e awarded.

Hustontown Area Fire Co. will sponsor an open stage on Saturday, January 23, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The kitchen will open at 5:00 p.m. You are welcome to come out and share your talent or you are welcome to come out and enjoy an evening of entertainment. See what a good time we have. Admission is free. Hope to see you there.

Shawn Berkstresser left on Monday evening on a business trip to several countries in Europe.
