Faith Christian 37, FCCCS 33

The Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers let Monday evening’s game slip through their fingers, dropping the non-league match to Faith Christian by only four points. T.J. Leedy nailed 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Teammates Kenny Lininger and Seth Gordon followed with nine and eight points, respectively.

Tussey 62 Forbes Road 43

Forbes Road only shot 24 percent from the floor Saturday in facing off against Tussey Mountain Titans. During the Sideling Hill League 62-43 loss, Jesse Newman rallied for a team-high 20 points and also dished out five assists. Tanner Henry had 11 points and 14 rebounds.


Calvary Christian 36

The Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers evened out their season record Saturday with a decisive nonleague 65-36 win over Calvary Christian. Kenny Lininger poured in a team-high 27 points and four steals, while teammate Seth Gordon had 12 points. Caleb Gingrich reached double digits with 10 points. T.J. Leedy led the defense with 13 rebounds.


Covenant Christian 40

Covenant Christian had a big half following the halftime break on Friday but it wasn’t enough to get past the victorious Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers. T.J. Leedy grabbed 13 rebounds and scored 22 points during the nine-point win, while Kenny Lininger rallied for 15 points.

Forbes Road 63

Northern Bedford 41

Jesse Newman cracked the 1,000 point mark last Tuesday pouring in 19 points against the Northern Bedford Panthers. Newman, along with teammate Tanner Henry, led the Cardinals onto a 63-41 Sideling Hill League victory, with Henry leading the evening’s scoring with 24 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and four blocked shots. Trent Black was the next highest scorer with nine points and seven assists.

Mountain View 76, FCCCS 62

T.J. Leedy nailed 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds last Tuesday when the Fulton County Community Christian School squared off against Mountain View. During the 76-62 nonleague loss, Leedy was aided by Kenny Lininger, who contributed 20 points, nine rebounds and five steals. Seth Gordon also reached double figures with 14 points and eight assists.

McConnellsburg 69

Cumberland Valley Christian 28

Cumberland Valley Christian only managed to total 28 points last Thursday evening, which ironically corresponded with how many points the victorious Mc- Connellsburg Spartans scored in the final period of the non-league match. Ryan Defibaugh had 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Spartans, who also got 12 points from teammate Evan Appleby. Nathan Swope had eight points as the next highest scorer.
