Mayor Charged With DUI
The mayor of a small northeastern Pennsylvania town is facing a DUI charge stemming from a Thanksgiving traffic stop.
Court documents show Dickson City Mayor Anthony Zaleski was issued a summons Thursday related to the traffic stop in Olyphant, near Scranton.
Olyphant police Chief John Gilgallon says Zaleski refused to have a blood test after being pulled over.
Zaleski faces an automatic one-year suspension of his driver’s license for refusing the test and other penalties if convicted.
