Arthur D. “Butch” Knepper
Arthur D. “Butch” Knepper, 61, Hustontown, Pa., died Wednesday evening, January 6, 2010 at his home in Dublin Twp., Fulton Co..
Born February 6, 1948, in Six Mile Run, Pa., he was the son of Dalbert and Martha (Fisher) Knepper, Waterfall Road, Mc- Connellsburg. He was married to Dorothy (Mellott) Knepper on June 21, 1979. She resides at their home.
He is survived by two sons: James Knepper, Hustontown, and Jeffery Knepper, Waterfall, Pa., along with two step-children: Mark Appleby, McConnellsburg, and Tina Clark, Hustontown; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Terry (Connie) Eisaman, Fort Loudon.
One step-daughter, Tracey Appleby, is deceased.
He was of Protestant faith.
During his life, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company for 24 years.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion Lodge #747 F and AM, Mc- Connellsburg, Pa., and the Harrisburg Consistory.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2010, at Dublin Mills Community Church, Hustontown. Pastor Sam Stoey officiated. Interment will be in Center Cemetery, Waterfall.
Mt. Zion Lodge conducted a Masonic service at 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
