Fannett-Metal 60 Forbes Road 51

The Forbes Road Lady Cardinals began Tuesday night’s championship match of the Teddy Thanos Tournament on a scoring streak but fell off following the halftime break for a ninepoint loss to the Fannett-Metal Tigers. Kaili Hockensmith had a team-high 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Shayla Carmack posted a career-high 15 points. Corri Parsons was the next highest scorer for Forbes Road with eight points.

Clear Spring 33

The Hancock Holiday Classic opened Tuesday evening with the Southern Fulton Indians trouncing Clear Spring, Md., by a score of 81-33. The Indians commanded a huge lead going into the halftime break, with Chelsie Eader leading her teammates in the victory. Eader posted a ca- reer-high 24 points, and Lacey Beatty had a triple-double with 13 points, 10 assists and 10 steals. Amy Bard also had 13 points, and Taylor Leasure hit double figures with 11.

Hancock 23

Southern Fulton got off to a slow start but moved on to a 19- point victory over Hancock last night during the Hancock Holiday Classic. Amy Bard finished with 16 points for the Indians and five rebounds, while Chelsie Eader pumped in 11 points and three assists. Lacey Beatty rounded out the tourney match with nine points and three assists.

Northern Bedford, 58

Forbes Road, 35

Northern Bedford received a total of 24 points from its lead scorer Monday night during a big 58-35 victory over Forbes Road. Kaili Hockensmith tallied 14 points and eight rebounds for the Lady Cardinals. Stephanie Worthing and Corri Parsons followed with six and five points, respectively. Parsons also had eight rebounds.
