Hazel M. Harr
Hazel M. Harr, 80, of Mc- Connellsburg, Pa., died Monday, January 4, 2010, at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg.
Hazel was born in Big Cove Tannery on March 16, 1929, the daughter of the late William B. and Margaret (Hann) Harr. She was the widow of Melvin R. Seville, whom she married on December 11, 1948. He passed away on May 5, 1980.
She was a member of the Corner Independent Church, Big Cove Tannery, and a lifetime member of the Fulton County Historical Society where she was librarian and past Historian of the Year. Hazel was a retired press operator from Sagner Manufacturing, McConnellsburg, and was also very active in genealogy.
Mrs. Harr is survived by daughters Diane K. Hann of Harrisonville; Darlene F. Fix of Harrisonville; son Larry R. Seville of McConnellsburg; sisters Clara Ella Hedrick of McConnellsburg and Anna Peck of McConnellsburg; Dorothy Potter of Greencastle; Jeannette Mills of Mc- Connellsburg; Mary Lou Forsythe of McConnellsburg; Cindy Loudin of Hagerstown, Md.; Florence Wilds of East Stroudsburg; brother John Harr of McConnellsburg; grandchildren Lori Buterbaugh, Ginger Hann, John Fix Jr., Jason Fix, great-grandchildren Adam Hollinshead, Tara Buterbaugh, Emilee Sipes, Mollee Sipes and Ethan L. Fix. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bonita Hemphill, and a brother, Dayton Harr.
Hazel’s wishes were that there would be no service or viewing.
