Honor Guard Marks 40th Anniversary


Fulton Honor Guard marked its 40th anniversary at its annual banquet held Sunday evening at the F.O.V.A. home in McConnellsburg. Officers were sworn in by VFW Cmdr. Robert Huffman (far right). Pictured from left are: Capt. Marvin DeShong, company clerk Donald Eisaman, finance officer Anthony Helman, Sgt. Timothy DeShong and Cpl. Timothy Mike DeShong. Not pictured is Lt. Robert Miller. Appointed officers are Robert C. Snyder, Chaplain, and Roger Sowers, bugler. Company clerk Eisaman reported 27 activities, including three full military funerals and 18 military funerals. Ralph Mellott was sworn in as a new member of the guard, and Cpl. Timothy DeShong received his 15-year pin.
