Get well wishes to Mylee Mitchell, Jen Ramsey, Joan Holtry, Jack Horton, Minerva Park, Dick Rhoades, Jessie Rhoades and Mary Mort.

Mike and Teresa Souders and family hosted a get-together to ring in the New Year. Those enjoying an evening full of snacks and fun were George Locke, Wayne and Mary Mort, Joe, Melanie, Cody and Dison Myers, and Betty Ramsey.

Tim Henry enjoyed dinner with Melvin and Jeremy Cooper on Tuesday evening at Path Valley Restaurant

Tim and Shirley Henry attended the Penn State men’s basketball game Sunday with Ellen Cheslock.

New Year’s Day dinner guests with Joe, Melanie, Cody and Dison Myers were Betty Ramsey and Joe and Judy Myers.

Wade, Dorothy, Eric, Nathan and Delaney Patterson enjoyed spending the holidays in Alabama.

Fred and Sharon Horne hosted a New Year’s Eve party with Buzz and Bea Covert, Travis Madden, Angela Roher, Andy, Tasha, Shaine and Kean Goshorn, Chris, Jenifer and Morgan Ramsey of South Carolina, Clark and Mary Frances Brant, and Laverne Brown.

John and Mary Mumma and great-grandchildren visited with Buzz and Bea Covert this past week.

Beth and Andy James visited with Buzz and Bea Covert on Sunday afternoon. Earlier in the day, the Steve Grissinger family and Maddison Wible visited with Beth in Three Springs. Also, they enjoyed catching up on news with Rick Anderson and Deanna Shope.

Visitors with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family this weekend were Lori and Camden Lupey, Travis and Tristen Hall, Maddison Wible, Travis Madden, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Gordon Locke and Ramon Martin.

Maddison Wible spent the weekend visiting with Tammy Grissinger in Chambersburg. While there, the girls enjoyed seeing the new movie “Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Squeak.”

A pesticide update training will be held at Southern Huntingdon County High School on January 28 in the vo-ag room from 7 to 9 p.m. Core and category credits will be given.
