Chestnut Ridge 51 Forbes Road 24

Chestnut Ridge’s Alana Weyant was unstoppable Monday evening, leading her teammates with 25 points during a 51- 24 ousting of the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals. Corri Parsons was the lead scorer for the Cardinals with eight points, and Kaili Hockensmith totalled nine rebounds.

Northern Bedford 53

McConnellsburg 11

McConnellsburg only managed to score 11 points Monday evening, falling dismally to Northern Bedford by the score of 53-11. Samantha Feagley had the majority of the Lady Spartans’ points with six, while Rachel Porterfield and Valerie Green both added two.

Southern Fulton 53 NBC 37

Lacey Beatty had a careerhigh 22 points last Thursday leading the Southern Fulton Indians onto their first win of the season. During the 53-37 victory over Northern Bedford, Chelsie Eader chipped in 10 points, four assists and three steals. Jenna Hollenshead pulled down nine rebounds.

Everett 61 McConnellsburg 15

Everett dished out a 61-15 victory last Thursday over the Mc- Connellsburg Lady Spartans, who saw their season record drop to 0-4. Nikki Fleming, Rachel Porterfield and Casey Pollock each tallied four points for the Spartans, who also got five rebounds each from Pollock and Valerie Green. Pollock also added two steals during the Sideling Hill League match.

Forbes Road 35 Belleville 32

Forbes Road pumped in some big numbers during the fourth quarter of last Friday’ game to inch by Belleville Mennonite 35- 32. Kaili Hockensmith was again the high scorer for the Lady Cardinals during the non-league game with 11 points. Teammates Stephanie Worthing and Corri Parsons both added seven points.

Forbes Road 49 Hyndman 37

Jess Gearhart pulled down a whopping 20 rebounds last Tuesday and also added eight points and four steals during the Forbes Road Cardinals’ 49-37 victory over the Hyndman Hornets. Teammate Kaili led the Cardinals’ scoring effort with 14 points and contributed four steals and three blocked shots, while teammate Shayla Carmack finished with nine points.

Tussey 51 McConnellsburg 11

Teammates Casey Pollock, Becca Hahn and Rikki Green each netted three points for the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans, who were trounced by the Tussey Mountain Titans last Tuesday 51-11. Pollock also had four rebounds, and Rachel Porterfield added four steals during the Sideling Hill League match.
