Other new fiction includes “The Nanny Returns” by Emma McLaughlin, “Midnight Fugue” by Reginald Hill, “Faces in the Pool” by Jonathan Gash, “Hollywood Moon” by Joseph Wambaugh, “Wishin’ and Hopin’” by Wally Lamb, “Mr. Darcy, Vampyre” by Amanda Grange, and “Wolf Hall” by Hilary Mantel.

New items at Hustontown branch library include “The Christmas List” (large print) by Richard Paul Evens, “Longhorn Trail” (large print) by Loren Paine, “The Scorpion Killers” (large print) by Ray Hogan, “Snow Angels” by Fern Michaels, “Tragic Magic” by Laura Childs, “A Quilter’s Holiday” by Jennifer Chiaverini, “A Wish for Christmas” by Thomas Kincade, and “Breathless” by Dean Koontz.

Due to reduced funding to the library from the state and county, new library hours beginning January 4 will be: Mondays from 12:00 to 5:00; Tuesdays from 9:00 to 8:00; Wednesdays from 9:00 to 5:00; Thursdays from 9:00 to 8:00; Fridays from 9:00 to 5:00, and Saturdays from 9:00 to 4:00. Hours at the Hustontown Branch Library will be Monday through Wednesday from 10:00 to 5:00; and Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 to 5:00. The Hustontown Branch Library will be closed on Saturdays.
