Get well wishes to Destinie Ramsey as she recovers from appendicitis surgery.

Chuck and Polly Streightiff visited with Tom and Mamie Streightiff on Sunday afternoon after the big snowstorm.

Jen Ramsey enjoyed a visit from Stanley and Sue Hall. She is recovering from her recent fall and elbow surgery. She will continue to have therapy for a few weeks.

Recent visitors in the home of Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger were Donnie Horne, Buzz and Bea Madden, Donna Locke, Travis Madden, Brent Carlson, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Travis Hall, and Lori, Brenden, Holden and Camden Lupey.

Pat Ramsey and Karen Grissinger recently enjoyed dining at the Olive Garden in Mechanicsburg and some Christmas shopping in Carlisle.

Congratulations to Travis and Tawnya Hall on the birth of their second son on December 15. Ty William weighed in at 8 pounds, 14 ounces. Big brother Tristen is all set to have a play buddy to share his trucks and plan some mischief.

The Immanuel Bible Church annual Christmas Eve candlelight service begins at 6 p.m.

Tammy Cantrell enjoyed a “birthday week” starting with lunch with her mother, Audrey Varner, on Tuesday and lunch at Prime Rib in Altoona with Ruth Grissinger on Friday. Santa also knows that Dorina Varner was enjoying lunch with a co-worker this week at Prime Rib in Altoona.

Get well wishes to Jenny Cantrell, Joanne Holtry and Bryan Doyle.

The community choir of Orbisonia will perform the annual cantata on Sunday, December 27, at 3:00 p.m. at Orbisonia United Methodist Church. There is now a handicapped access entrance and everyone is welcome!

Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Dick and Kim Watkin, and Chuck and Polly Streightiff enjoyed the Kenny Rogers Christmas program in Shippensburg earlier this month.

A pesticide update training will be held at Southern Huntingdon County High School on January 28 in the vo-ag room from 7 to 9 p.m. Core and category credits will be given.
