Lifelong Hunters Bag Bucks In Same Drive
World War II veteran and lifelong deer hunter Marvin A. Douglas, 90, left center, bagged a 6- point buck on the second day of deer season with a single shot from his .270 Remington. Douglas was accompanied by his grandson, Michael Douglas, while hunting with the Douglas gang, one of the few gangs still active in Fulton County, from which many memorable stories and lots of enjoyment have come. Pictured with him are grandson Michael Douglas and son Lynn Douglas. Pictured right is 75-year-old McCauley “Sonny” Miller, hunting with the Douglas gang, who bagged an 8-point buck in the same drive.
