Re-Creation sang and performed to a full house on Wednesday night at Cito Methodist Church. They also entertained at the McConnellsburg High School and Elementary School on Thursday. The program was very enjoyable.

Sympathy goes out to Eric and Donna Fisher in the death of Eric’s mother recently in Vermont.

Junior Truax is home after spending a week in Fulton County Medical Center and will be going for more tests on his heart. His and Millie’s daughter, Betty, and friend Chava are visiting from Florida.

Jane Lamison of Cooper Lane received word that her niece, Peggy Lamison of York, passed away on December 4, at the age of 46.

Winter arrived in this area over the weekend with a couple inches of snow. What a beautiful sight it was on the trees and Christmas lights.

Fulton County Medical Center held its annual Christmas dinner at the American Legion on Saturday night.

Sympathy to the family of Jesse Peck Mellott, who passed away last week.

A Lutheran Parish men’s prayer breakfast was held Saturday morning at K’s Place. A good time was had by all.

It happened this week: On December 7, 1941, Imperial Japanese warplanes attacked the U.S. Navy base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, as well as other American and British bases in the Pacific; the pre-emptive raids prompted the United States to enter World War II.
