Calvin Jerald “CJ” Blosser, 27, Mount Union, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Born December 23, 1981, in Mc- Connellsburg, he was the son of the late Calvin Edward Blosser and Cheryl (Houck) Blosser of Hustontown. He was married to Carolyn Varner Blosser on March 8, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives of Mount Union.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Layla Putt of Mount Union, along with his adopted family, Richard and Terry Barnett of Hustontown and Teresa Bard of Wells Tannery.

He attended the Forbes Road High School, Waterfall.

For several years, he was employed by JLG Industries, Mc- Connellsburg, Pa.

He enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with his wife and stepdaughter. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a special love for hunting deer on his family’s farm. He also enjoyed playing pool and riding ATVs and dirt bikes in his free time.

He had a special love for his best friend, Dixie, his golden retriever. He will be loved and sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 27, 2009, at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown, Pa., with Rev. David Ford officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
