New large-type books at Fulton County Library include “The Big Steal: A Sterling Glass Mystery” by Emily Jenkins, and “Rainwater” by Sandra Brown. Other new fiction books include “Deadly Deals” by Fern Michaels, “Cleopatra’s Daughter” by Michelle Moran, “Almost Home” by Debbie Macomber, “Haiku” by Andrew Vachss, “Cat Striking Back” by Shirley Murphy, “Under the Dome” by Stephen King, “Unseen Academicals” by Terry Pratchett, “No Less Than Victory: A Novel of World War II” by Jeff Shaara., “Quilter’s Hoiliday” by Jennifer Chiaverini, “Too Much Happiness” by Alice Munroe, “Lacuna” by Barbara Kingsolver, and “Christmas Blizzard” by Garrison Keilor.

New nonfiction books include “It’s Your Time” by Joel Osteen (large print), “Superfreakonomics” by Steven Levitt, “Going Rogue” by Sarah Palin, “Knockout: Interviews with Doctors who are Curing Cancer” by Suzanne Somers, “Boy Scouts of America: A Centennial History” by Chuck Wills, and “Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell and Know” by Alexandra Horowitz.

Did you know you can reserve and renew your books online? All you need is your library card and a PIN number. Call the library at 485-5327 for a PIN number, then go to the library’s Web page at fultoncountylibrary.org, click on the online catalog, and follow the instructions.

The Fulton County Library in McConnellsburg is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hours at the Hustontown Branch Library are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Fulton County Library will be holding a book and bake sale Friday, December 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All items are just $2 per bag! Stop by for some great deals and help support your library! If you’d like to donate books, videos or baked goods for the sale, please bring them to the library by Thursday, December 4.
