The middle school time will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the high school time will be from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The whole middle school will compete for the title of 2009 Snowball Prince and Princess, and five high school couples will compete for 2009 Snowball King and Queen. Both the middle school and high school will be asking for donations to help their voted-on community service projects: American Cancer Society and helping to save the old MHS building. Students will be collecting donations from now and until December 18 at 3:30 p.m. The following high school couples are competing: sophmores - Natasha Mumma and Tyler Branche; juniors Kim Long and Michael Jones; junior Emily Wenschhof and senior Brandon Buterbaugh; seniors Angie Baughman and Jesse Wible; and seniors Kelsey Waters and Ron Snyder. Last year the middle school raised $4,500 and the high school raised $5,600 for their community service projects. Together, they raised a total of $10,1000 ($6,600 went to the American Cancer Society and $3,500 went to “Save the Old MHS Gym Fund”). Any questions, please contact the SADD advisors, Jessica Fish or Kathy J. Kendall at 485-4530, ext. 1002.
