F&M Trust Makes Donation To Semper Fi Memorial Fund

Mike and Nancy Szwydek of the Semper Fi Memorial Fund are presented a check for $1,000 from F & M Trust in front of the Semper Fi Memorial at Southern Fulton High School in Warfordsburg. F&M Trust, on Friday, presented a check for $1,000 to the Semper Fi Memorial Fund in financial support of annual educational efforts that benefit Southern Fulton, Central Fulton and Forbes Road school districts. Nancy Szwydek, Semper Fi Memorial trustee, accepted the check on behalf of the Memorial Fund.

The Semper Fi Memorial Fund was established to teach high school students about the price of freedom by taking them on field trips to Arlington National Cemetery and Washington, D.C. The fund was created in 2006 in memory of Steven Szwydek, who was killed in 2005 while serving with the U.S. Marine Corps in Iraq.
