Truax – Fife United

Mr. and Mrs. Eric Truax Mr. and Mrs. Eric Truax Whitney Fife and Eric Truax were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. August 1, 2009, in a lawn ceremony on Crooked Lake, Oden, Mich.

The bride is the daughter of Tony and Teresa Fife of Flora, Ind. Parents of the groom are Larry and Sue Truax of Needmore. Rev. Larry DeVos and Rev. Roger Truax officiated.

Kevin Truax was pianist and vocalist. Amanda Angrick of Brownsburg, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Nicholas of Grand Rapids, Mich., and BreAnne Miller of Huntington, Ind.

Kylie Fife of Lafayette, niece of the bride, was flowergirl. Her escort was Dylan Spesard of Flora, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Adam Meredith and groomsmen were Kevin Truax, brother of the groom, and Will Shriver, all of Needmore.

Ushers were Justin Angrick of Brownsburg, brotherin law of the bride; and Luke Dzirbik of Noblesville, Carson Spesard of Flora, and Nolan Fife of Seymour, all cousins of the bride.

Guest registrars were Elania Truax, sister of the groom, and Emily Dzirbik of Noblesville.

An outdoor reception immediately followed the ceremony on Crooked Lake and receptions were also held in Pennsylvania and Indiana.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School. She graduated in 2009 from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in math education.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Southern Fulton Jr.- Sr. High School. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. He is employed at Auto-Owners Insurance Co. in Lansing, Michn.

Following a wedding trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Mr. and Mrs. Truax are residing in Lansing.
