JLG Makes Donation To Food Basket

Craig Paylor, left, president of JLG Industries and executive vice president of JLG parent company Oshkosh Corp., and Stephen Subasic, right, JLG vice president of human resources, present an Oshkosh Corp. Foundation check for $10,000 to Fulton County Food Basket manager Sue Cubbage last Wednesday in the Tuscarora Room at JLG in McConnellsburg. In making the Foundation’s second donation this year to the Food Basket, Paylor said that the goal of the Foundation is to improve the lives of people in the areas where the companies do business. Paylor also said that production workers who had been laid off from JLG have now been recalled to work on military contracts. Cubbage says the 140 households the Food Basket serves each month total 350 to 400 individuals. The Food Basket is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. More information may be obtained by calling 717-485-5688.
