Crash Kills Students In Pa.
EDINBORO, Pa. (AP) – Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a head-on crash killed three Edinboro University students.
State police say a car tried to pass another vehicle at the crest of a hill and hit an oncoming car early Wednesday evening.
Police say the crash killed 18- year-old Domenico Crea, of Erie; 18-year-old John Eyrolles, of Pittsburgh; and 21-year-old Sheldon Harmon, of Bolivar, N.Y.
Crea was driving the car that attempted the pass. Eyrolles was his passenger. Neither was wearing a seat belt. Harmon was the driver of the other car and was wearing a seat belt.
Edinboro, a state-owned university, is located about 15 miles south of Erie.
