Judge Van Horn Presides Over Court Session

Judge Carol L. Van Horn of the 39th Judicial District of the Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held on Tuesday, October 20, at the Fulton County Courthouse.

Michael Eldon Deneen appeared with his attorney to enter a guilty plea to driving under the influence. A presentence investigation will be conducted by the Fulton County Probation Department prior to sentencing on December 8.

Sandra Marie Jefferson appeared with legal counsel on charges of driving under the influence. Jefferson pled guilty and will be sentenced on December 15 following the completion of a presentence investigation.

Lateshia Ann Loreman appeared with her attorney on one count of receiving stolen property. Loreman will be sentenced on December 22 as a result of entering a guilty plea.

Christine Marie Kerlin entered a guilty plea to driving under the influence. Kerlin will be sentenced on December 8 following a presentence investigation.

Zachary Pittman appeared in court on October 20 on two different sets of charges involving possession of a small amount of marijuana and theft by unlawful taking. Pittman pleaded guilty to both incidents. He will be sentenced on December 22.

David Alan Strock appeared with legal counsel on charges of driving under the influence. Strock pleaded guilty and will reappear in court on December 15 for sentencing.

Individuals granted continuances until the January term of court include Hank Wible Keefer, Barry Andrew Lake, Derek Mentzer, Rebecca Moore, Billy Joe Pittman, Timothy Allen Shoemaker and Davis Louis Stauffer.
