Join The FCMC Long-Term Care Angels On Earth Program

Created to diminish loneliness during holiday season

SPECIAL TO THE NEWS

It’s that time of year again to begin planning for the holiday season! For several years the Fulton County Medical Center Long-Term Care Activities Department has been offering the “Angel’s On Earth” program. The program was created to diminish the loneliness experienced by residents and to encourage neighbors to visit their local nursing home facilities. Many residents have no visitors or family and become quite lonely, especially over the holiday season.

The activities staff hopes your organization will consider joining the Angels On Earth program to bring joy to the nursing home residents during the holiday season. If you would like more information about this program or wish to donate gifts, please contact Elisha Feight, activities director, at 485-6170.

Because of the heightened flu season, the hospital is are asking that donations be dropped off to the activities department. The activities staff will distribute the gifts to the residents on Christmas Eve. Any group wishing to participate, please drop off donations to the activities department by Friday, December 18.
