Federal Prison In Pa. Locked Down After Assault
LEWSISBURG, Pa. (AP) – A federal prison in central Pennsylvania is locked down after officials say two inmates assaulted a staff member.
Officials at the federal penitentiary in Lewisburg say the staff member suffered puncture wounds in the back and other injuries.
Four officers also suffered minor injuries after they responded to the attack, which happened around 7:50 a.m. Sunday.

did not say what type of weapon the inmates used. Other details of the attack have not been released.
Finley says the prison remains secure and is still locked down.
