Turkey Supper A family-style turkey supper will be held Saturday, November 14, at the ladies auxiliary building in Shade Gap at 4:00 p.m. Carryouts will be available.

Spaghetti Supper A spaghetti supper will be held November 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Orchard Ridge First Church of God, Hancock. Served will be spaghetti, salad, desserts, drinks and garlic bread. Proceeds benefit Orchard Ridge Women’s Ministry. A freewill offering will be taken.

Spaghetti Supper A spaghetti dinner will be held Saturday, November 7, at Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church Faith Center from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to benefit Tara Strait of Warfordsburg, who suffered a fall requiring numerous surgeries and extensive rehabilitation. The cost is by donation. Carryouts will be available.

PASR Luncheon Fulton Chapter of PASR (Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees) will convene for its fall luncheon November 16 at McConnellsburg Lutheran Church. Registration will be at 9:00 a.m. Please register with Sally Cover at 485-4144. Cost is $12. Donations for the Food Basket will be accepted. All school retirees are encouraged to participate.

Thanksgiving Pie Sale The Saint Stephen Family Life Committee is sponsoring an apple and cherry pie sale on Saturday, November 21. The cost of the pie is $7.50 for plain and $8 for crumb. The pies may be picked up after 9:00 a.m. on November 21. To place an order call Sister Margie at 485-5917.

Pancake Supper Whips Cove Church will hold a pancake supper Saturday, November 7, at 5:00 p.m. Served will be buttermilk pancakes, old-fashioned buckwheat cakes, eggs, pork puddin, sausage, ham, sausage gravy, coffee, hot chocolate and juice. Donations accepted and greatly appreciated.

Spaghetti/Lasagna Dinner Center and Clear Ridge United Methodist churches will be hosting a spaghetti/lasagna dinner at Center Church on Saturday, November 7, starting at 4 p.m. Each meal includes salad, garlic bread, drink and dessert. Meal is free, but donations are greatly welcomed. All proceeds will benefit the family of Stephen Szwydek, a 20-year-old Marine who lost his life in Iraq on October 20, 2005. Special music will be provided by Walter Bolinger.
