McConnellsburg 2, Belleville Mennonite 0

Jesse Swope and Codey Christy capitalized for one goal each last Friday for a 2-0 Mc- Connellsburg win over Belleville Mennonite. Nathan Swope dished out an assist during the non-league match, and goalkeeper Dillan Hollinshead made two saves for the shutout.

Forbes Road 5, Belleville Mennonite 1

Forbes Road continued its winning streak last Thursday, rolling on to a 5-1 win over Belleville Mennonite. Dillen Burger rallied for two goals and two assists, and Trent Black added two goals and an assist. Donovan Bricker had the final goal for the Cardinals, who got assists from Robert Swope and Casey Covert. Tanner Henry blocked four shots in goal for the win.

Southern Fulton 4, Everett 3

Southern Fulton garnered its first win since the 2009 season opener Monday night, downing the Everett Warriors by the ending score of 4-3. Tyler Trail managed two goals, while teammates Cody Burgoyne and Briar Kirk each added one. Matt Garland handed out an assist.

Northern Bedford 3, McConnellsburg 0

The McConnellsburg Spartans totalled four corner kicks and a total of eight shots on goal Monday evening but still fell to Northern Bedford 3-0. Goalie Dillan Hollinshead made 10 saves during the Sideling Hill League game.

Hyndman 1, Forbes Road 0

Hyndman managed one goal only nine minutes into Monday night’s game and held on tight for the narrow 1-0 Sideling Hill League match victory over Forbes Road. Cardinal goalkeeper Tanner Henry totalled six saves during the loss.

Forbes Road 3, McConnellsburg 0

Dillen Burger racked up two goals for the victorious Forbes Road Cardinals, who downed the McConnellsburg Spartans 3-0 last Wednesday. Trent Black scored the Cardinals’ remaining goal, while Black, Dakota DeShong and Donovan Bricker each had an assist. Tanner Henry had five saves in goal for Forbes Road, and McConnellsburg goalie Dillan Hollinshead made four saves.

Fannett-Metal 6, Southern Fulton 0

Fannett-Metal connected for three goals in both halves of last Wednesday’s Sideling Hill League game to easily down Southern Fulton Indians 6-0. Indian goalkeeper Courtney Strait tallied 10 saves in goal during the Sideling Hill League match.
