Troopers Attend Field Sobriety Testing Course
Several PA state troopers from the McConnellsburg station recently attended a three-day standardized field sobriety testing class that was presented by the State Police Troop G patrol section. The standardized field sobriety testing class is a certified course that was developed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to improve field sobriety testing and DUI detection nationwide. Over the next several weeks, additional troopers will be trained until all of the patrol troopers at the McConnellsburg station are certified in the testing procedure. Above is Trooper George Carper (left) from the McConnellsburg Station receiving his certificate from Lt. David L. Cain, Troop G, patrol section commander.
