Some of the items to be auctioned off at the Fulton County Community Christian School’s auction. Some of the items to be auctioned off at the Fulton County Community Christian School’s auction. Fulton County Community Christian School’s annual Christmas dinner auction will be held Saturday, November 14, at Hustontown Firehall. Pictured above is a cedarlined oak chest handcrafted and donated by Donald Snyder of Snyder’s Woodworking, Needmore. This unique chest features a picture hand-painted by Fred Pollock, Waynesboro, of the old Needmore Elementary School, now the home of FCCCS. This one-ofa kind chest will be up for bid along with numerous other silent and traditional auction items. Also pictured above is a child’s oak rocker and a traditional, one-of-a-kind school quilt featuring FCCCS students and faculty for the 2008- 2009 school year.

Many fine, handcrafted wooden items will be found on both auctions, as well as antiques and collectibles, guns and other items of interest for the sportsmen, handmade quilts and afghans, oak quilt rack, candles, jewelry, handmade clocks, home d├ęcor items and so much more. This will be the place to find that special something for everyone on your Christmas shopping list.

And for those with a sweet tooth, there is the promise of a lively, but friendly, bidding war when those pies, cakes and candies hit the auction block.

The general public is invited to come out for a delicious buffet meal and an evening of fun and great bargains while lending support to FCCCS. The silent auction begins at 3:30 p.m., the buffet dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. and the traditional auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Dinner reservations are required, but reservations are not necessary for the auction.

Donations of items for both auctions are gratefully accepted and greatly appreciated. For additional information or to obtain dinner tickets, you may contact FCCCS at 717-573-4400 or call 717-485-3496, or e-mail to secretary@ fcccs.org.
