Meet In Baghdad


Army Lt. Col Christopher Layton and Marine Lt. Col. Curtis Hill, both 1986 graduates of Southern Fulton High School, met up in Baghdad on Oct. 19, 2009, when Hill was in Baghdad for a meeting. Layton is assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, Texas, and is serving as the provost marshal for Multi-National Division-Baghdad in Baghdad, Iraq. Hill is assigned to II Marine Expeditionary Force in Camp Lejeune, N.C. and is serving as the public affairs director for Multi-National Force-West at Al Asad, Iraq. The two officers spent approximately three hours having dinner and rehashing old times back in Fulton County before Hill had to fly back to the western part of al Anbar Province. Army Lt.
