Another year gone and time to look forward to the weekend for Fulton County folks.

Sorry to hear Rusty Carmack was injured in an accident. We send speedy recovery wishes his way. He is a patient at a Pittsburgh hospital.

Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary is soliciting desserts for Sunday, October 18, to be used for the smorgasbord. The ladies auxiliary would appreciate any donations. So, ladies, support them with a dessert.

The fire company will sponsor a big bingo on Sunday, October 25, at 1:00 p.m. Doors and kitchen opens at 11:00 a.m.

Rev. Phyllis Bivens of Stewardship Foundation was guest speaker at Knobsville United Methodist Church on Sunday morning.

Belated happy birthday to Delores Swope, who had a birthday October 7.

Hustontown-Forbes Road Alumni held their banquet at Hustontown Firehall October 3. The group appointed Michele Fester Hall as the new president and Craig Cutchall as vice president. They honored all classes with the year ending in 9.

There will be all kinds of activities in Fulton County the last part of the week. Lots of eats at Hustontown Firehall Saturday and Sunday. Large flea market will be in progress on Route 522 at the barn. So hope everyone can get out and enjoy all the activities.

Peter Rusack will be having some surgery, so we want to keep him in our prayers for a speedy recovery.

Household hint: Don’t peel the skin from apples and vegetables and don’t remove all white membrane from citrus fruits. Both contain biofesonoids, which strengthen the walls of capillaries, the tiny blood vessels that carry nutrients to individual cells. And bioflonoids make vitamin C more absorbable by your body.
