Legend Comes To Fulton County

Local Huntington County icon and Pennsylvania legend Gaird Zauzig volunteered his time to come and be a part of the Fulton County Cowboy’s historic October 3 contest under the lights at McConnellsburg High School versus the Huntington Raiders.

However, that’s nothing new for this man who is 81 years young and working his 60th year as a PIAA official. He is also the oldest active official in the state of Pennsylvania. Zauzig said he was excited about the game and honored to be a part of football in Fulton County.

Coach Heuston’s Cowboys rolled in front of the hometown crowd 25-6.
