Fulton County Library is presenting a 5-week session of Family Place Parent/Child workshops for children birth – 4 years of age starting Friday October 2 and ending on Friday October 30, 2009. These workshops will be held in the community room of Needmore Branch Office of Tower Bank at 10:30 a.m. Special guest for the first session will be personal fitness trainer and nutritionist, Catherine Washabaugh. New nonfiction includes “What Color is Your Parachute? 2010: A Practical Manual for Jobhunters and Career Changers” by Richard Bolles, “Getting it Through My Thick Skull” by Mary Jo Buttafuoco, You Were Always Mom’s Favorite: Sisters in Conversation Throughout Their Lives by Deborah Tannen, and “National Parks: America’s Best Idea” by Dayton Duncan.

New books for younger readers include “The Wyrm King” by Tony DiTerlizzo, and “Breathless” by Lurlene McDaniel.

New books at Hustontown Branch Library include “The Lost Symbol” by Dan Brown, “Alex Cross’s Trial” by James Patterson, “The Last Song” by Nicholas Sparks, and “A Cousin’s Prayer” by Wanda Brunstetter.
