Cards Of Thanks
We would like to take this time to thank everyone who has found it in their hearts to help our family in this tough time. Jacob is finally getting the care that he needs for Glycogen Storage Disease Type 1A. Dr. Weinstein was wonderful with Jacob and made adjustments to the cornstarch that he will have to drink the rest of his life unless there is a cure.
I first have to thank Mark, the physician’s assistant at Fulton County Medical Center who took the time to listen that something just was not right with Jacob and found that there was something wrong. Mark, you are wonderful.
A special thanks to my grandparents, Charles and Bernice Harr, who went with us to Florida to take care of Sidonna while we were in the hospital. We couldn’t ask for better grandparents. To my mother, Amanda Daniels, who arranged a baked goods sale for Jacob. Mom, you’re the best. To everyone at the Aughwick Auction who worked very hard with the bake sale, you guys are the greatest.
To everyone who attended the auction and purchased all the items. Other special thanks goes to: Arn’s Surplus, F&M Trust Bank, Fulton PennDOT, Bedford PennDOT, Hunter Buterbaugh (This girl worked very hard, she is such a kind-hearted young lady.), St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Eagles Club, Roger and Linda Deshong, Mark and Melinda Peck and family. It is because of you that Jacob was able to get to the right doctor. Words cannot express how much we thank you.
This is just naming a few but to everyone else who is not listed, we thank you so much that you have found it in your hearts to send cards, donations or even the phone calls. We are so thankful to each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers.
It is nice to know that we live in a town where everyone still cares for one another.
Thank you so much and may God bless you all.
Todd, Yolanda, Sidonna
and Jacob Hershey
