Nutrition Education For Older Adults The Fulton County Nutrition Awareness Program will be holding a four-session series of nutrition education classes using “Eat Smart Live Strong.” The classes are for seniors and will be held at Hustontown Senior Center starting Monday, October 5, 2009 at 10 a.m. “Eat Smart Live Strong” is a way to enjoy fun and lively activities with other older adults. You will talk about easy ways to make smart fruit and vegetable choices and to add exercise to your day. For more information, please contact the Nutrition Awareness Program at 717-485-5688.

Blood Drive A blood drive will be held at the Forbes Road School District on October 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held in the old high school gymnasium as part of a senior project organized by students Nathan Karczewski, Trent Black, Kristin Berkstresser and ShyAnn Ramsey. Members of the general public are urged to participate.
