Blue Cowboys Outlast Silver Cowboys in Flag Showdown

The Blue Cowboys outlasted the Silver Cowboys on Sunday at Lions Club Park. The teams battled to a scoreless tie through regulation, with no serious scoring threat from either offense.

In overtime, Silver opened play and scored on their first play when Grayson Hall grabbed a pass from Reece Gearhart for the touchdown. Silver was unable to convert the extra point. Blue then answered as Bryce Kylor caught a pass at the five-yard line and cut across the field to tie the game. Blue also failed on their point after attempt. Silver was unable to score on their ensuing posession. Blue took the ball, lining up in an unbalanced formation. Logan Deshong handed the ball off to Lucas Folkowski, who sprinted to the weak side and into the end zone for the winning score.

Football returns to Fulton County this Sunday, September 27, as the Blue Cowboys host Mount Union Gold at 1:30 p.m. and the Silver Cowboys host Mount Union White at 3:00 p.m.
