McConnellsburg 5, Everett 0

McConnellsburg jumped out to a four-point lead Monday and easily cruised onto a 5-0 ousting of the Everett Warriors. Cody Christy scored a pair of goals for the Spartans, who also received goals from Jesse Swope, Colby Sowers and Drew Wink. Swope also dished out two assists. Goalie Dillan Hollinshead made 11 saves for McConnellsburg.

Chestnut Ridge 1, Forbes Road 0

Forbes Road dropped its third consecutive game Monday with a narrow 1-0 loss to Chestnut Ridge. Cardinal goalkeeper Tanner Henry recorded two saves during the Sideling Hill League match.

Hyndman 7, Southern Fulton 0

Hyndman blasted Southern Fulton with seven unanswered goals Monday to easily clinch the Sideling Hill League match. Southern Fulton goalie Courtney Strait tallied seven blocked shots.

Conemaugh Township 1,

McConnellsburg 0

McConnellsburg's strong defensive effort held Conemaugh Township to a single goal Saturday during a 1-0 non-league loss. Dillan Hollenshead logged an amazing 21 saves in goal for the Spartans.

Berlin 3, Forbes Road 0

In spite of firing 17 shots at Berlin's defense, the Forbes Road Cardinals weren't able to find the back of the net against Berlin last Friday. Goalies Nathan Karczewski and Tanner Henry both had two saves.

McConnellsburg 9,

Southern Fulton 0

McConnellsburg easily dispatched of the newly created Southern Fulton varsity soccer squad, winning the Sideling Hill League match 9-0. Colby Sowers tallied four goals, while Spartan teammates Nathan Swope and Drew Wink both added two. Cody Christy followed with one goal. Dillan Hollinshead finished the game with five saves in goal for McConnellsburg. Indians goalkeeper Courtney Strait recorded 15 blocked shots.
