Library Gets Ready For Grand Opening

Abdy Toledo (standing) and Brian Kirkpatrick of K&M Dri-Lay Masonry, Waynesboro, install inscr bed bricks at the entrance to the newly renovated Fulton County L brary. The 118 bricks were engraved by Gordon's Memorials of McConnellsburg as part of a fundraising project, with proceeds earmarked for the purchase of a new circulation desk. Other fundraising efforts launched by library officials were decorated ceramic tiles for children and a "naming opportunity" campaign. The end result of ongoing efforts will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new facility at 1 p.m. this Saturday. The ceremony will also include keynote speakers, light refreshments and an open house that will conclude at 4 p.m. Abdy Toledo (standing) and Brian Kirkpatrick of K&M Dri-Lay Masonry, Waynesboro, install inscr bed bricks at the entrance to the newly renovated Fulton County L brary.
