Second TIme Around Fashion Show Now is the time to get an exclusive outfit at Second Time Around in Waterfall for the annual fashion show at the fall festival in Waterfall October 17. Come in Tuesday or Thursday, noon until 3:00 p.m. or Saturday, noon until 2:00 p.m. Pick out an outfit and wear it, no charge if you model it and it's yours to keep free. Also a chance to win a prize.

House Tour The Fulton County Historical Society is currently planning for its annual Fulton Fall Folk Festival House Tour. Each year houses with historical significance, popular appeal or ones displaying unique living areas are showcased on Saturday and Sunday afternoons of the festival. Because the house tour committee would like to represent all areas of the county, they are now searching for homes in southern Fulton County. Diabetes Walk A multi-county diabetes walk will be held Sunday, October 11, at McConnellsburg High School track. Registration is at 1:00 p.m. and the walk starts at 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. More information may be obtained by calling 814-259-3737 or Thomas@pa.net.

Cancer Benefit Luncheon Fight Like A Girl Cancer Benefit luncheon will be held October 3 at Cito Methodist Fellowship Hall. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and program starts at 11:00 a.m. A catered lunch will be served. Door prizes, silent auction items and raffles will be held to raise funds for two local women with their struggles. Tickets are $15 each or $75 for a table of six. Door tickets will be limited so reserve now. More information may be obtained by calling Deb Toothman at 717- 485-3718.

Weavers 101 A hands-on weaving instruction by Judy Appleby will be held September 26 and October 3 at 9:00 a.m. at the Frick Road, Waterfall, studio. Offered will be hands-on instruction on the basics of weaving through the creation of large or small totes that include leather handles and a diamond overlay pattern. Class will last approximately 4 to 5 hours. Participants need to bring an old towel, pencil, flexible tape measure, sharp scissors, spring clothespins, spray bottle and a dishpan or bucket, not too small or too large. Students should also bring a brown bag lunch or something to share for lunch. Cost is $44 for a small tote or $49 for a large.
