Kenneth Ray Holley, 67, Burnt Cabins, died wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born June 25, 1942, in Huntingdon, Pa., the son of the late Vernon and Juanita (Stafford) Holley. He was married to Barbara Locke on June 25, 1978.

He was employed by International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66, in Pittsburgh, as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara L Holley, Burnt Cabins; one sister, Linda M. Miller, Indiana, Pa.; four sons: James V. Holley, Indiana, Pa.; Vernon Holley, Canonsburg, Pa.; William H. Thomas, Chambersburg; and Daniel Lee Thomas, Hustontown; and numerous grandchildren and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon K. and Jaunita Holley, and two sons: Kenneth R. and Donald Eugene Holley.

Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2009, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg. Interment was at Burnt Cabins Cemetery. Fulton Honor Guard performed full military honors.
