Stiffer Charges For Pa. Woman Accused In Conspiring Husband's Murder
BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) - Police in central Pennsylvania have increased the charges against a woman accused of conspiring with another man to kill her husband.
Twenty-seven-year-old Mirinda Boob is now charged with first-degree murder in the Aug. 23 death of 29-year-old Samuel Boob, the father of four small children. She is also charged with solicitation to commit murder, and the original conspiracy charge against her remains.
Also charged with first-degree murder is 29-year-old Ronald Heichel, of Bellefonte, who is accused of shooting the victim in his Centre Hall garage.
District Attorney Michael Madeira said police found text messages sent from Mirinda Boob's phone saying she wanted to see her husband dead and "six feet under.'' They have also alleged that she provided "specific information'' about the victim's whereabouts.
Both defendants are scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Carmine Prestia.
