Blood Drive A blood drive will be held at the Forbes Road School District on October 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held in the old high school gymnasium as part of a senior project organized by students Nathan Karczewski, Trent Black, Kristin Berkstresser and ShyAnn Ramsey. Members of the general public are urged to participate.
Shriners Clinic Shriners Hospitals for Children and Ali Ghan Shriners will be hosting an orthopaedic screening clinic to determine if a child may need additional care at a Shriners hospital. It will be eld Saturday, September 26, at the office of Dr. Cameron Duffy, 6 Tonoloway Street, Hancock, next to Widmeyer Memorial Park, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Shriners hospitals are committed to providing expert, family centered care at no charge. Cancer Benefit Luncheon Fight Like A Girl Cancer Benefit luncheon will be held October 3 at Cito Methodist Fellowship Hall. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and program starts at 11:00 a.m. A catered lunch will be served. Door prizes, silent auction items and raffles will be held to raise funds for two local women with their struggles. Tickets are $15 each or $75 for a table of six.
